    • Configure PIM Sparse Mode
    • Form shared tree with sources and receivers
    • Switch to the Shortest Path Tree
    • Form PIM Sparse Mode shared tree with sources and receivers
    • Switch to the Shortest Path Tree
    • Configure Bidirectional PIM Mode
    • Monitor Bidirectional PIM Mode
    • Configure SSM
    • Monitor SSM
    • Configure PIM Sparse-Dense Mode
    • Monitor PIM Sparse-Dense Mode
    • Troubleshoot PIM Sparse-Dense Mode
    • Configure IGMP filters to allow the receiver to join only certain predefined multicast groups
    • Configure Auto-RP
    • Configure BSR mechanism
    • Deploy Anycast-RP
    • Configure external MBGP/MSDP peerings
    • Determine the amount of information resulting from multicast distribution tree kept globally (not per VPN)
    • Separate the customer multicast traffic by introducing multicast VRF (mVRF) on the PE-routers
    • Configure a default multicast distribution tree (Default-MDT) for multicast VPN domain (mVPN)
    • Deploy PIM-SSM in the core to avoid configuration of a Rendezvous Point (RP)
    • Configure an IP multicast routing between the PE-router and the CE-router
    • Configure a data multicast distribution tree (Data-MDT)
