Cisco IP Telephony v6.0
The Implementing Cisco Unified Communications IP Telephony Part 1 (CIPT1) 6.0 remote lab bundle enables learners to gain practical experience in Unified Communication Manager administration and configuration, including IP phone management and hardening, user administration, and configuration of SIP endpoints. The learners implement MGCP voice gateways, dial plans, call privilege and coverage, media resources, presence-enabled speed-dials and lists. They configure user features, voice mail integration, and deploy video telephony using Cisco Unified Video Advantage. The exercises teach the learners the skills for deploying Cisco Unified Communications solution including Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity.
The CIPT1 6.0 lab exercises can be configured in two modes: remote-only and mixed. The remote-only mode runs on equipment located in NIL's remote lab. Some labs and tasks are not fully supported in remote-only mode. The mixed mode uses a combination of equipment located in the classroom and devices located in NIL's remote lab. The classroom equipment and the remote lab equipment are interconnected via tunnels. The mixed mode supports all labs and features.
